The Education & Human Services career field allows students to pursue a career with altruistic motivations, leveraging foundational technical knowledge in human development, mental health, and exploring the interrelationships of individual wellbeing, family strengths, and community vitality. Incorporating education and human services career pathways in CTE programming can be key workforce development solution. For example, Early Childhood Education (ECE) programs contribute to a strong ECE system where workers can feel comfortable entering, re-entering, or remaining in the workforce. These pathways equip students for high-skilled occupations where workers are challenged with the complexity of addressing human growth and wellbeing.
